arizona tea and milk anyone?

Elysee is spending its last few days with its beloved owners. At a corner, is a box full of food which we have been living on for the past few days (Like refugees =P). No pots and pans. Just bread, fruits, instant noodles, cereal, nutella and biscuits. And of course, Arizona tea. Endless (paid) supplies of it.
So far, so good. Exams, lack of sleep, junk food, unstoppable laughter, weird jokes, emotional traumas (maybe this is just for me), they all come and go.
Meh, it's been an emotional week eh?

Man, summer's like speeding away. Oh, I almost forgot. Bravo to all of us who made it through the long summer 2 session. =p. Fighting against the tempting laziness was definitely an arduous battle. Congratulations Elysee!

Yup. It's packing and cleaning day for all of us today.

The 'housewives' are on the roll again!

So the girls of Elysee graduated from Dance class last night.
Decked out in our nice outfits, (you three looked wonderful btw =))
and armed with our 6 weeks worth of skill lessons,
We headed for a cozy pizza party before hitting the dance floor.

At the Regent,
we were awestrucked by the way the ballroom was decorated,
it was themed "tropical night".
Everyone else was in floral prints and what-not.
Saf was dressed in a pretty lil floral patterned skirt. =)
Maybe we should've stop and picked up a flower each to be pinned to our hairs ;)
Haha! Then again, can you imagine ballroom dancing while having to secure the flower in it's place every five minutes?
Okay, that's me being random.
There were so many couples professionally doing their thing...
twirling and swirling around the ballroom.
We weren't too bad ourselves!! ;)
The odd huge bunch of youngsters hanging around there did stood out among the crowd!
Anyway! If I dare say, Ainul, Alina, Saf and I had a great time!
Swinging to music, being waltzed away by our dance partners,
and even fake dance through a couple of dance styles! =)
I personally thought faking Polka was fun! hahah!
I'm really gonna miss this class...
Was great while it lasted.

As it all came to an end,
We bade goodnight to everyone,
and continued on our final mission of the night.....
Decked in heels, dresses, and skirts,
Ainul, Saf, and I were seen picking boxes at Walmart!
What a hilarious sight that was! =P

Oh well...
More scrubbing and boxing the next day!
Sighs...

D-Day

So tomorrow's the big day for Wenli, Ainul and Safwan :)
And perhaps other Actuaries out there, but i tak tahu la.

Wenli (surprisingly) is ber-emo-ing with emo songs. *pats head*
+ she's studying for her exam.
Ainul was watching the Terminal :) *pats head*
+ she's studying for her exam.
Safwan's studying for his exam.
hehe.

Mar's doing Calc. *pats head* I know Calc is evil Mar.
Saf is also doing Calc. But she's also ber-emo-ing, listening to the Sindarela song.
Haha.

The house is a mess.
There are boxes near the entrance.
My room's a mess too cause i've started packing.
Tan, the bed's empty cause i put your bantals and Teddy in a box already. teehee.

Starting Friday night, operation "Clean and Pack" will officially begin.
We'll be cleaning the place and i think we'll only be living on the ground floor area-ish.
Cause we've decided that we will only be using
- ONE bathroom
- ONE cooking pan
And you know, stuff like that.
Basically, the house will be totally empty by the end of this weekend.

Sedih kan? :(

One tummy-aching wednesday

Is it the more than 10 tubs of 'air sedap'
Is it the funny smelling sponge?
Is it the last day of dance classes... =(
or maybe just the start of 1 heck of a week...

Yea, all 3 of us got struck with tummy aches!
It started with Ainul dashin to the bathroom in Fin class,
and as she dashed pass me, my tummy took it as it's cue...
Back at Elysee, a tummy clutching Saf entered the door...

But 'mummy' of the day became a surperhero yesterday ;)
Saf randomly exclaimed: "i just realized I'm the oldest around here..."
so she was made 'mummy' of the day =P
and left all the mummy-ing to her...
Braving her tummy ache, which dipanaskan by Ainul's botol ;)
mummy did something superb by herself, which can't be mention for certain reasons...
but still proud of you mummy! =P

By the way, I still claim "UIUC it" is as legit as "Google it"!

Then a study party happened at Elysee!
As Ainul and I brain storm on more integrals with Safwan, while Mar and Saf did Calc-y!!
Late night,
Syauqi and Lopop brought a pizza party to Elysee..
for their 'hardworking workers' ;)

Monday Blues

It's gonna be one busy week.

But after that, we'll party with our dance classmates.
Food and Salsa!

This weekend, do something a little more productive..
clean the house and move our stuff.
I think only then will the realization kick - we're leaving Elysee for good.
But let's not worry about things that need not be worried right now :)

and we start to thank that the Malay language isn't well known around the world...
Spent most of the time just hangin and some nice chillin...

Then it was BBQ at the ENgineering quad.

*At this point, I'd have to inform that the mag was a subscription by the owner of Elysee. Especially after Dr Khairul's pointers, I have to reinforce that at no point were we thinking inappropriately and seeing things we shouldn't see =P*

So we woke up to another early morning of class and made our first trip together to Grainger.
All was well! A seemingly productive day we've had.
Then took orders from subway back home for dinner and some cookies to go with! =)
As giggly girly as this sound, we spread quizes over the table and had dinner while laughing over personality, relationship, love quizes from "do you know how to flirt" to "Who do you love quiz" *Cough! Saf Cough!* WOI! apa saf saf ni? haha *sings: I don't hate you anymore...* , and "How happy are you?"
Had a great time!

Ohoh! How can we not mention the serious discussion we had this morning...
that was the 1st ever tense moment at Elysee =)
but it all turned out well! yay!

Did the "peek-a-boo" step for Night Club 2-Step today,
and now we could finally remember the name of the song that always elude us once we step out of the dance hall! Careless whisper....

11.30 pm - went to MarketPlace =). Oh my God, there was a 60% sale at almost half of the stores there. Evil!

Last night's facebook session was so hilarious! haha. I can't believe two hours just went by like that. Evil facebook! but we all can't help but love it.

Lunch today was sangat sedap. =). Thanks Saf and Wenli and me for cooking! Gosh, how lucky our future housemates would be. We had a three-month long cooking lesson! and the best part, there's edible food invloved.

and yes, you two. Go shop some clothes!! Make me feel less guilty. =s

Henna Curry

First of all, i made Nasi Goreng kampung + Shrimp all by myself today! :D

It was ok laa...macam kekurangan warna warni yang cantik (a.k.a the sayurs)
But i think it was edible =^.^=

Anyways, Wenli had lunch at Bombay Indian Grill today and she brought back some leftovers.
There was na'an.
Sedaaaappppp :)

And then, there was this..curry.
The spinach and potato curry, to be exact.

HAHAHAHA, Ainul and I thought it looks like inai (henna).
It does tau!
When we tasted it..it kinda tasted like inai too!

"If i were to have an idea of how inai would taste like, it would taste like this!" -saf
hahaha.

And for sheer pleasure, this is the so-called "spinach and potato curry".We're on to you Bombay grill.
You cant fool us :P

a weekend with the lovesac in the loveshack

Yippee!

Elysee is finally buzzing with noises as its four favorite occupants finally came back from what we can say as an awesome weekend.

To Milwaukee,
Thanks for being such a pleasant and peaceful place. We totally enjoyed the non-suffocating roads. And, thank you for being generous enough to bakar your duit for that 50 minute long fireworks show. It was beautiful and even though it was not an hour long (as Dezerk would have hoped), we loved it!
To that apartment on M*@#*%&ll street,
Thanks for being so cool (and not to mention) bright. The couch proved to be (if not heavenly) extremely comfortable. And the awesome dining table that could magically be extended so that all 6 of us could fit, you rock! I'm pretty sure Russ enjoyed his stay as well since he has full view of the nice-looking bathroom that has a vase with flowers beside the sink. =) and of course because he had all the attention from us.

To the food,
To arrive to a simple dish of Dezerk's birthday cake was simply refreshing. Armed with fried chicken and some 'telur mata kerbau', the nasi goreng kerabu filled our empty stomachs with a splendid fulfilled feeling. And oh, that wonderful collection of cereals are just too good to be true. It's the best feeling to wake up in the morning and look up to see bright colors caressing your eyes and knowing you can EAT them. =D. and sure enough, they made a sumptuous breakfast for all of us. Not forgetting the Oreo biscuits and the juices and the calorie bars. You guys made our weekend more delicious!

To the dresses and elegant shirts,
Thanks for making us feel that we look 10 times prettier and more handsome for that night at Osterio del Mondo. =). And to be readily available at Forever 21 in Mayfair Mall and also the stores in Pleasant Prairie. You made us feel like royalties even though all we had was a card (that works wonders if you had money in the account).

To Milwaukee's shoreline,
We enjoyed the picnic to bits. I would never in my whole life ever regret renting that large surrey, the rollerblades and the Skelter. The ride along the lake was totally awesome. The nice people that looked at us with smiles made us smile even more. It was a great day.

But today, it rained and rained and semua baju x kering but I was happily in bed in my comforter with the kilat sabung menyabung kat belakang..ahahaha.. Aight, I'm sure u guys are getting hyped up about the weekend. Even though Im on a holiday, I still look forward to it too! ahaha..
So I'm sure the bubur lambuk was nice. Am sorry I missed the whole preparation I'm sure it would have been hillariouos if i were there..*implying that I'm funny here*..ahaha..Aight..take care you guys
