warming this summer house

So...
it's already been a week since we moved into this awesome and lovely house.

And...
we're still not done buying groceries and stuff for the house yet. The food seems to be depleting at a very fast rate. ( thanks to all of us)

But...
We had an awesome housewarming event yesterday. Lots and lots of food *grins. We had soto ayam, char kuey teow, fried rice, vegetables with mushroom cooked Wenli's style, Nadiah's famous cheesecake, chocolate chip cookies, fruit pudding and the list goes on. Took 7 girls to get everything ready. Nadiah and Wenli started the night before. Saf and me started in the morning. Intan and Asma joined us in the afternoon. By noon, the kitchen just got too small for all of us. Except for those occasional times when Nadiah had to open the oven.

Nadiah says: Alright. I'm taking out the cookies out of the oven. It's very hot. Everyone! Move!

* And suddenly, the kitchen went empty for a while.

Well, that was the only time.

Overcrowded kitchen, you were saying?

By 3pm, almost all the food were nicely done. People started filling the room. Isa came barging in screaming "SPOT CHECK!!!" and made his way down the stairs. I should have expected that. LOL.

We got a lot of compliments for the delicious food and the gorgeous house. Good job girls. =).
